Local Latin band Jaleo faithfully and festively reproduces the Afro-Cuban, Puerto Rican, and Colombian rhythms they draw upon for inspiration. The versatile multicultural ensemble plays a wide variety of Latin styles, including salsa, Latin jazz, cumbia , merengue, bachata , bolero, and cha-cha. Their arrangements and interpretations highlight the joy in the music of the past and present.
