Family Storytime: Noon Year's Eve Dance Party
Ocotillo Library and Workforce Literacy Center · Ocotillo Library and Workforce Literacy Center, Phoenix, AZ
Who’s it for? Children, birth to age five, and their favorite grownups What will you do? This event will include singing, dancing and reading but will also have a countdown to Noon. The Noon Year’s Eve Storytime will be family‑centered, welcoming caregivers and older siblings. The event will provide a shared, positive experience that encourages interaction between children and adults, and offers a gentle, structured way for families to celebrate together. What is your child learning? We will merge early literacy, cultural learning, and family fun into a single, engaging event that celebrates the New Year’s tradition in a way that is safe, fun, age-appropriate, accessible, and developmentally suitable for toddlers. Support for early literacy programs is provided by a grant from First Things First, which partners with families and communities to give all Arizona children the opportunity to arrive at kindergarten healthy and ready to succeed.
