Día de los Muertos in Phoenix 2026

Día de los Muertos 2026 is Sunday, Nov 1 and Monday, Nov 2: a Mexican tradition of remembering and honoring loved ones who have died with ofrendas (altars), marigolds, candles, music and food. Valley celebrations start the weekend before and run into the weekend after.

We checked 11 festivals, ofrendas and performances across the Phoenix area against their official sites, plus 7 Día de los Muertos events from library, venue, city and ticketing calendars. 9 of the curated celebrations are free. Every card says what the organizer's page lists for times and prices; those change, so confirm before you go. A few regulars haven't posted 2026 details on their own sites yet; they're at the bottom with their official links.
